Clark Building Equipment
fNIRS
The lab uses a 48 source x 32 detector NIRx NIRScout Extended system for functional near infrared spectroscopy. This is an LED based (670 and 850 nM), continuous wave device. The system is equipped with commercial cap and custom optode holders. Up to 32 short distance channels can be configured to measure non-brain physiological noise signals. Individual optodes can be placed in caps with or without the use of spring loading assistance.
EEG
A g.tec g.HiAmp active EEG system is available. The system can be configured with up to 144 electrodes (128 active + 16 other). A variety of sensors are available including active and passive wet electrodes and active dry electrodes, all for use in commercial cap-based montages.
Translational Medicine Institute
MRI
A 3T Siemens Skyra MR scanner is available for research use. The scanner is located in the Translational Medicine Institute on the CSU Veterinary Medicine Campus. TMI is about a 15 minute walk from the Behavioral Sciences Building.
