The project is a collaborative effort with <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.cardiff.ac.uk\/staff\/moreyc\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/profiles.cardiff.ac.uk\/staff\/moreyc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Candice Morey<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.wofford.edu\/boppkl\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sites.wofford.edu\/boppkl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Kara Bopp<\/a>. The feedback from visitors was great, and we look forward to sharing more news about our work in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dr. Vanessa Loaiza co-organizes a major conference for cognitive psychology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop.eu\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCoP)<\/a> holds a biennial conference (i.e., every odd year), which took place in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sheffield, UK from September 2-5th, 2025<\/a>. Dr. Vanessa Loaiza was one of the two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/organising-committee\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/organising-committee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">co-organizers of the conference<\/a>, which brought together nearly 800 delegates from 36 different countries. The conference was a big success, featuring fantastic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/speakers\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/speakers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">keynotes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/event-programme\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/event-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scientific presentations<\/a> from across the discipline, multiple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/satellite-events\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/satellite-events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">satellite events<\/a> to promote professional development opportunities, and a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/conference-social-programme\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.escop2025.com\/conference-social-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">social activities<\/a> that were intended to bring together scientists of all different career stages while showcasing the best of Sheffield.
